Changes in 2009

Now that the new website is finally up and running, I’d like to announce some further changes and improvements in 2009 just to give you a brief overview about how my plans look like, the new or improved services offered, some financial aspects and of course my goals in general.

So just read on to see what you can expect this year.

Fair pricing structure ensuring a better quality and rewarding recurring clients
Most clients prefer fixed prices instead of a pricing based on hourly rates which was a sufficient reason to go over the existing pricing structure again, offering an even more reasonable, fair and rewarding structure from now. While the basic rate for most services increased slightly just to ensure it also covers the growing expectations in terms of technical quality and design and therefore also the enlarged time exposure required, I’m also going to offer three new ways to save expenses under certain circumstances, especially rewarding valuable clients and partners.

10% discount for recurring clients
Clients who supported me in the past, put confidence in my work and come back time and again with new work are seriously valuable and will be rewarded with a 10% discount.

15% discount during periodical sales
This year, four different sale periods are scheduled to provide an opportunity to arrange a project early. This additional planning security is beneficial for me and so you can save 15% of the estimated price. One of these sale periods is currently valid until the end of January so you might want to make use of it.

5% for affiliates
Until now, the “designed by indiqo.media” notices at the bottom of each page were a requirement, but since some clients want to support me anyway by referring new clients to me and others don’t want to display this notice at all, I’ll leave it up to you now. However, word-of-mouth recommendation is an essential aspect for any small business and so I’d be glad to give 5% of the amount spend for a new project to affiliates who recommended my work and send new clients to me. Every client will be automatically registered as an affiliate while anybody else can sign up too by filling out my contact form.

In the end, this new pricing structure ensures the continuously improvement of all services I offer while past clients can still order projects at nearly the same rate as before.

Improved and new services
During the past three years I gained a lot of experience in various different fields and now like to share them with you by offering them as additional services. These new services include without limitation an enhanced compatibility report and improvement incl. an optimization for up to 23 different browsers, professional eMail marketing campaigns, consulting, search engine optimization and working with other content management systems regularly. Furthermore, you can look forward to more free downloads, commercial stock templates and a professional upgrade of existing Subdreamer skins to ensure compatibility with the much anticipated version 3 which will be released too this year.

Business hours
In order to retain a healthy work and life balance, the new business hours I’m working within regularly are from Monday till Friday 8am - 5pm, at least that’s what I intend to do. As you probably already noticed, I’m currently writing this message on a Saturday and so I’m still quite flexible here, most of all because I also really like my work.
