Hi Maximilian,
I cannot get the option to use an image instead of textlink for the category name in Subdreamer to work. The same issue is in the “Fragile” skin on th SD site.
What can i do to fix this?
/Stefan
Hi Stefan,
You have to make sure that no subcategories have been assigned - otherwise the images you added to the navigation won’t be displayed at all which seems to be the regular Subdreamer behaviour as far as I know.
Hope I could help you,
Max
Hello,
First of all, thank you for the new skin. It’s great.
I’m not sure what happens but the “Forum” menu button points to a wrong address when the forum page is displayed.
It points to:
http://www.cdartdisplay.com/forum/forum/index.php
Instead:
http://www.cdartdisplay.com/forum/index.php
If other page is displayed (like “Home”) the forum address is right in the “Forum” menu button.
Maybe it’s a skin matter.
Thank you in advance.
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for the feedback - Actually this is no bug in the skin, you probably just entered a relative path to your forum within the category settings in the Subdreamer admin control panel.
Right now, the Forum category just forwards the user to /forum prepending the url of the page the visitor browses at that time. If a user now already is on the forum page, the domain prepended also includes the path to the forum which leads to a wrong address then.
In order to solve that you just have to make sure to add the entire, absolute path to your forum as link to the category within your Subdreamer admin panel. This way you can ensure the link will be usually exactly the same, no matter if a visitor browses through your website or forum.
So in this case please just use this link:
http://www.cdartdisplay.com/forum
Instead of this one:
/forum
Hope I could explain this and solve it for you,
Max
Hi Max
Thank you so much for your kind help.
It’s working properly now with the full link.
No problem - hope you enjoy the skin.
Great skin, thank you very much!
