That's Me The truth is that I learned so many things..

Retrospect & Outlook

Since the launch of the third version of my website back in January, many things were going on and even though I intended to write new blog entries regularly, there was usually something which seemed to be more important or urgent for some reason. But now - even though my situation didn’t change at all - I think it’s about time to start writing again especially because there are a couple of things which might be useful for some of you & some I simply like to share just like that.

One of the most exciting things I’ve been working on meanwhile was the new admin panel design created for the much anticipated third version of Subdreamer CMS, which seems to be well-liked by the community and to be honest with you, I can’t wait to see it live myself soon.

The second big thing for me was a non-commercial project I’ve been working on by the beginning of the year. Yes, it meant a lot of unpaid work for me and yes, I’ve been quite stressed during that time creating a professional website for a company of that size after doing my daily regular work before, but in the end it was definitely worth it and improved my local reputation significantly which is also the reason why I’d absolutely do it again if I’d get the chance elsewhere. The result of this enjoyable collaboration is an important, solid business partnership and because of the company’s influence and popularity, a few very nice new clients I met meanwhile.

To keep my sanity while working on my clients projects all day long, I also accomplished a small personal side project called shrivel.me - which is a free url shortening service - rediscovered my passion for running in the forest early in the morning and improved the entire business structure and client relationships in some way.

In the end, there are various topics on my list I’ll be writing about regularly now including useful business advice, experiences of a freelancer, interesting Subdreamer related topics as well as a couple of freebies and cool links I’m going to share with you too.

So if you like to, just keep an eye on this blog and I’ll hope to see you all soon then.

Thanks a lot — glad you like it!

I’m currently quite busy working on various really nice projects but I think there will be a new free theme this summer to celebrate being a freelance designer for five years already.

When will we see more modern themes for Subdreamer including jquery, like the ones you see on Wordpress and jommula?

Right now, there are no further public skins planned, but I’ll definitely consider including stuff like that once I’ll release new skins again.

I’m sorry but there are too many projects I got to work on right now.
